Nitrogen-Vacancy Singlet-Manifold Ionization Energy

چکیده
The singlet states of the negatively charged nitrogen-vacancy centers in diamond play a key role its optical spin control and readout. In this work, hitherto unknown ionization energy is measured experimentally found to be range 1.91--2.25 eV. This obtained by analyzing photoluminescence measurements incorporating charge state differentiation, along with simulations based on nitrogen-vacancy's master equation. work establishes protocol for more accurate estimate energy, which can possibly lead improved readout methods.
